Binaural Beats
I am trying out a new form of mind expansion called binaural beats. I have tried a few sessions so far and it's been very enlightening. I started with a demo track from Holothink.com titled Totally Tranquil and the results were simply amazing. After listening to Totally Tranquil one evening last week I had the most vivid dreams I can ever recall. As a rule I don't remember dreams or more often I'm not aware of dreaming. After this one session my dreams were so vivid and populated with people I haven't thought of in almost 20 years or more that I was blown away. While listening to the CD I was surprised to find my mind clearing. At times I was in a state similar to when you are driving a long time and suddenly realize that you don't recall anything from the preceding few minutes. The concept is that by listening to these sounds your brain cycles through the various brain waves from Alpha through Beta to Theta and Delta. It is suggested that this is the state of a person who is in deep meditation. I can't say for sure about this but I sure feel something and after listening to the CD I am relaxed and focused. Google Binaural Beats and experiment for yourself; I think you will be surprised at the results. |
